i lost five pounds, yet gained one inch. WHY ME????

it really kills me whenever i measure my waistline:(

This is the first time I've finished the tutor's advanced homework in one day! HIP HIP HURRAH AND CHERIO!

i feel inspired to read The Illiad by Homer now:)

WOOOOOOOOOOT!

i finished the first book of Homer's The Odyssey!!! I feel so proud of myself it was so hard to understand, these ancient ways of speaking! Basically, the first chapter was about Athena getting mad at Poseidon (well duh, they hate each other anyways so no news there) because he was punishing Odyseus, who was a victorious warrior on Athena's side during the Trojan War. And then she goes and disguises herself as Metis and comes down to greet Odyseus's son, who she basically told, "DUDE, YOU NEED TO GO ON A QUEST TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT YO FATHAH! HE'S NOT DEAD!" and she gave him courage, enough to talk back to some rude guests that wanted to marry his beautiful mother, Penelope, also the wife of Odyseus! I feel so smart I can translate it to modern speech!

But Before I Start...

Mmmkay now that I have half of my to-do list finished i'm gonna read THE ODDYSSEY for next year!
