Doing a Science project about pathogens.

if you don't know this one, it's streptococcus mutan, the scientific name for cavities. How cavities are caused? Well, sugar is particularly hard to digest, so your saliva releases this lactic acid to help digest it. However, this acid is really harmful and when it gets to your tooth's enamel, it can cause major decaying as it tries to reach your dentin. Pretty harsh. How do i know all this stuff? I stay awake in class:)
