I'm Excited
for the part that Circe comes in the story. If you don't know, I wrote this 138 (Office Word 2003) paged book called Sign. In it, I named a character Circe, inspired by the enchantress from The Odyssey. I haven't ever read the book, but I needed a name for one of my main characters, so since I loved Greek Mythology, I looked up names from there. The witch from the picture had blue eyes and black hair, just like my character, so I decided to name her that! Only, I didn't know Circe was famous for her false love to Odysseus and turning his men to pigs to eat. Kind of gross.
The Odyssey is pretty good!
I know, I've been a little distracted and couldn't concentrate at the begining of the book, but when they visit Melanous and Helen it get's pretty interesting. I started to cry when I read the part about Odysseus leaving Calypso! She's a beautiful goddess, man, yet you leave her for your mortal son and wife!
Yay! I feel so popular!
My phone has been out for about a day (yesterday) and I decided to charge it. When it popped up, it said I had missed two texts! I feel so popular! I never get texts! one from my mommy and the othe from my cousin!
