Dear Japan,
how have you been so far? i really wish you the best (: hopefully, things will get better. i wish i could donate more and help more but being a high school student, i lack time and money. tests and jobless. i've donated as much as i can afford, but even my future is uncertain without the money, knowing colleges are expensive. i hope to succeed in college so i can afford to donate a lot to not only charities supporting you, but all the people out there that need help. things will get better soon. c'mon, you're the home of anime and manga! in EVERY manga/anime, it always ends well, no matter how many losses or wins. things will turn out better than before the catastrophe and we will all live in peace. just know that basically all of america is out here, supporting you!
love,
anne!
Y'all think I should start doing reviews on dramas, too?
i think so. hmmm. after a review on this agatha christie book, I'll do one on DREAM HIGH, BABY :)))
HAHHAA
there was a biology question: "Why is this system [photosystem II and photosystem I] called light-dependent?" My Answer: "Because it depends on light."
AHHHHH IT'S DESTINY (:
I ate at Chinese First BBQ today for a baby shower, and guess what I saw on the Chinese Zodiac placemat? Well, I'm born in 1995, and I'm the boar. Key was born in 1991, and he's a sheep. On the placemat, it said that I will marry either a rabbit or a sheep. KEY'S A SHEEP!!! IT'S DESTINY!!! HE'S MINE!!! WE GONN GET MARRIED IN THE FUTURE!!! OMGOMGOMOGM!!!! :DDDDD I'M SO HAPPY THAT THE CHINESE ZODIAC EVEN AGREES WITH ME!!! < 3 < 3
New Books I'm Tuning Into! :D
I used to not be much of a reader, but as a good preparation skill for first-time SAT-takers, they say it's good to constantly read. And so I think I've taken up a new hobby! Here are some interesting books that I'm reading at the moment. Maybe you've read some before? :D
From the library:
The Moving Finger by Agatha Christie
So far, it's about this city girl that stays with her brother that lives in the country. Ha-ha, I've only read like ten pages, so don't blame me of anything! Well they get an anonymous letter and that's where I stopped...It's a mystery, so if you HAVE read it, don't tell me anything! :D Agatha Christie always seems to surprise me, anyways, and this will be my very first Miss Marple book, y'all! From Half-Price Books:
The Procrastinator's Guide to the Sat and PSAT (Kaplin)
As maybe half of you know, I really want to get accepted to this one school called TAMS, which stands for Texas Academy of Math and Science. Well, math and science are my strong points...actually all the core subjects are my strengths except for geography. I mean, English comes really easily for me, too, so I guess I'm like a triple-threat? LOL I dunno but for TAMS, I have to have a really good score on the SAT test, which I'm going to be taking early in August, and before high school, I didn't even know what a SAT test was. Yurp. So I was looking at this and it was like DESTINY for me!From my cousin, Sarah:
Alice in the Country of Hearts by Soumei Hoshino and Quinrose
THIS IS SERIOUSLY A CUTE STORY. OMG. Well, y'all know how I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Alice in Wonderland, yeah? This is like a twisted version of it. I absolut-a-mente loveeeeee itttttt. Because of no spare time, I haven't been reading many mangas, plus, they were all boring. All of them basically had the same baseline: one girl that has all the guys yada yada ya...well actually, this one is the same thing...LOL BUT I STILL LOVE IT (: I'm actually holding up the second book right now, but it's good if you have time! My favorite character is the rabbit, "Peter White", then the Cheshire cat, "Borris" is next~ Cute drawings, really cute.
