GOOD JOB EVERYONE!

i got back form a debate tournament yesterday. I found out I broke for the very first time, in Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate! I was so happy! You have no idea! So, there I was, observing my teammate's extempt round because he broke to semis. My buddy Tiffany and I were chatting with his judge, when the last person left the room. Well, my buddy called me and told me I had broke. I seriously screamed cause, hey, my name is Anne Truong. And I broke. HELLO HOW OFTEN DOES THIS HAPPEN? NEVER. But yeah, I beat three of my four opponents. LOL I lost my round after that, though. HAHA. oh wells. I got WAY WAY WAY further than I expected. The only reason why I even go to these debate tournaments are for the extra grade! Well. I actually got to go to a fifth round, which is also really rare for a novice. I felt like my last debate was pretty legit, too (: Anyways, to my extempt speech I go. I knew I definitely couldn't pass this one, so I went ahead and quoted Justin Bieber. I was like "Justin Bieber once said, 'Never say never'. How juvenile this may sound, it is also legitiment because it is true..." And so on. Hey, it wasn't as bad as when my other teammate confused the ambassador of England with the director of Avatar! So hilarious, you should've seen his ballot!

Oh, and when we first arrived, there was this hot junior hitting on me, and I was like "aiight, aiight, I feel ya!" but then Tiffany comes up and calls me a freshman and he was all "WAIT WAIT WAIT...YOU'RE A FRESHMAN?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A SENIOR!" and because I said "...yeah..." he walked away. LOLOLOL JUNIORS THESE DAYS.
