how come people always confuse me for half-Japanese, half-Korean? The kids at my Viet school are like "No way! You're not Vietnamese! You have the eyes of a Japanese person and the smile of a Korean person!" and then the lady at the nail salon said I looked half Japanese and half Korean, too, so she spoke in Vietnamese freely. LOL. And then my classmates were shocked to find out that I was Viet! Do I just not look Vietnamese? HAHA and why half Japanese and half Korean instead of whole? I'd understand more if they said I looked Chinese...
